Transition to IPv6

IPv6

Dear Customers, on the occasion of World IPv6 Day, which will be held on June 8th, we will proceed with the implementation of IPv6 on all our servers, this will mean that all websites can be consulted from both IPv4 and IPv6 networks .

We have been running tests for several months and we are ready to go ahead with the change. This may involve an outage for a few minutes, and you do not have to take any action, is totally transparent.

During the next few days we will be gradually upgrading servers with IPv6 support. We will also apply the latest patches to improve security.

This change is a major advance, your websites will be viewable from anywhere on the Internet, if you still do not want your server to be upgraded to IPv6 must inform us through soporte@comvive.es.

Special cases:

Shared Hosting – All shared hosting servers will be upgraded to IPv6, not being able to choose to apply the change or not.

Dedicated Servers: Can choose whether they will upgrade to IPv6.

Unmanaged servers and housing: We will send you the IPv6 ips assigned to your server and advise you on the transition to IPv6 if desired.

Yours sincerely.
